Who am I?

Hey there! I’m glad you made it here, which I assume means you’ve shown interest in my project. Or it could mean that you just clicked wrong and wound up here by accident. In any case, welcome!

I’m Licco, it’s a pleasure to have you here. I’m an aspiring independent gamedev hailing from Nigeria. I’m a high school graduate heading off to college to pursue a course in software engineering.

Since childhood I’ve had a passion for storytelling. I’ve always been praised as a good writer . And upon proper pondering, I believe that it’s time I brought my stories to the world. And the best way I can bring my stories to the public is in the form of a video game. And I’ve saved one of my best stories for this.

What is AwF?

"Athendom Will Fall" is a mix of RPG, exploration, puzzle-solving, and strategic combat, all set in a world that feels like an old Windows XP OS. You'll explore different digital realms, each with its own unique look and challenges. We're aiming for a quirky, captivating vibe inspired by games like Deltarune and Earthbound. The game will be divided into chapters, so you’ll uncover the story bit by bit and dive deeper into it.

What’s the game’s story?

You play as Fruit, a teenage café clerk in Athen, which is based on an old operating system. Fruit's world is about to be wiped out by a system format called the OVERWRITE. To stop this apocalypse, Fruit needs to find eight deactivation keys hidden across various digital dimensions. 

who do we meet?

Fruit: the main character of the story. A middle schooler living in the suburban quarters of Athen city. Living with their grandparents, it's unknown to them that the universe has bigger plans for them

Fillaneo: a sweet tamed malware frog with a taste for textures. Fruits new companion ever since they found him in a dumpster behind the school. (Culprit behind fruits missing eye texture)

Vangessa: a snobby .png girl who started her career off by modelling for a small brand and later became well known is now caught up in fruit's Adventure via a twist of fate. fruits old babysitter before her crawl to fame.

Lotus: Face of Axolotl browser and a representative at the OS foundation, assisted by their coworker, Lippcy.

Lippcy: the new head user assistant, absolutely despises his job and has developed a slight Nicotine dependence. They alone have the power to communicate directly with the user (if only they'd ever answer his calls)

Conclusion
